Why I Started Trose Fitness and Performance

I've been training pretty consistently since college. It started the way it does for a lot of people. I wanted to get stronger and look better. Somewhere along the way it became part of who I am.

Training taught me things that had nothing to do with the gym. Show up when you don't feel like it. Do the boring basics well. Measure what you're doing so you know if it's working. Those lessons carried over into everything else in my life.

Over the years, something kept happening. People would ask me for workouts. Friends, coworkers, people I'd just met. Then they'd ask for meal plans. They could see the results I'd gotten for myself, and they wanted to know how.

I helped where I could. A workout written on a napkin. A few pointers on what to eat. But advice on the side is not the same as coaching. Nobody was checking in. Nobody was adjusting the plan when life got busy. And people would start strong and then drift.

Then I lost my job. That's not a fun thing to write. But it gave me a moment to step back and look at what I actually wanted to do. With the number of people asking me for workouts and meal plans, I thought now was a great time to get started with it for real.

That's how Trose Fitness and Performance was born. Two years in, the idea hasn't changed. I train for results. I'm not training you to just work out. My goal is for you to reach yours.

I also train by example. I think that matters more than any certificate on a wall. Looking at me, you can see what consistent training does. I'm not asking you to trust a theory. I'm showing you what happens when you do the work, week after week, for years.

My coaching is built on what got me here: strength training as the base, with a mix of cardio and flexibility. It's not flashy. It works. And I adjust it to you, whether you've never lifted before or you're an athlete getting back to your best.

Most of the people I want to help are women who have tried before. They've done the challenges, the diets, the classes. They've lost the weight and found it again. They're busy and they're tired of starting over. I get it. What's missing isn't effort. It's a plan built for them and someone to keep them on it.

That's the job I took on. Not to make you tired. To get you somewhere.

Right now I'm building my first group of clients here in West Chester and online. I don't have a wall of testimonials yet, and I won't fake one. I'd rather earn real results with real people. If you want to be one of them, this is a good time to start.
